Cat Wand or Medieval Weapon, why not both?
When designing The Kitty Flail I knew I wanted to make something that not only looked sick, but was practical enough to be used as a functional cat toy.
The head of the flail is a classic Morningstar, featuring 7 evenly distributed spikes wrapped in rope, not dissimilar to a traditional cat scratcher. Not only did this bring the flail together, but also added durability & additional texture for tactile enrichment. Encased within the flail head itself are a few small bells, becoming an auditory element for your Familiar’s newest weapon. I also chose to go for lightweight plastic chain to make this weapon suitable for delicate paws, rather than steel as it would simply be too much of a hazard. Finally, the stained wooden handle is wrapped with upcycled PU leather making it far more comfortable to hold whilst your Familiar goes to town!
